Easy to purchase! Fast and affordable shipping and film prices. Just used my Canon AE-1 on vacation and it was perfect. Such a beautiful camera.

I’ll try to keep this short but there is a lot to share both good and bad. First things first I received the camera a few weeks later than the website originally had suggested not a huge deal and I was particularly refunded for the expedited shipping. My gripe here is less that it was late and more that I didn’t know it would be late until it was late and I asked about it to which they responded by saying one or more items were out of stock only after I had reached out. The other issue I had was that the camera I received had bad light seals, the black foam that dampens the mirror was disintegrating and leaving contaminants inside the camera body. It was easy enough to replace but cost me an additional 40$ for the parts and I would think that as a camera reseller they would have provided a bit more service by refreshing the cameras that they sell. On to the good ! The camera was clean and relatively scratch free and from a functional standpoint other than the light seals was in perfect working condition. The other good/pleasant surprise was that the camera came with a 50mm f1.4 Lens and not the standard 50mm f1.8 lens. I don’t know if they ship all of their cameras with the better kit lens but that’s what I got.

At the end of the day the camera is 40 ish years old and had its quirks but after putting a little love into it, I find my self taking it everywhere.
