I recently ordered a Canon AE-1 Program from Cute Camera Company for my girlfriend's birthday, and while I appreciate the excellent condition of the camera upon arrival and the unique packaging, I was quite disappointed with the overall experience.
Firstly, I was under the impression that the specific model I ordered was in stock. Their website clearly indicated quick shipping times, which is why I placed my order well in advance. Unfortunately, after a few days of silence on their end, I reached out for an update only to learn that the model I wanted in good condition was actually out of stock. This information was not communicated at any point during the ordering process, which was frustrating and left me scrambling to find a backup gift.
While the camera itself was great, the lack of communication and transparency regarding stock availability was unacceptable. It’s critical for a company to keep customers informed, especially when an order is time-sensitive. I expected better from Cute Camera Company, and this experience has made me hesitant to recommend them. I truly hope they address these issues moving forward.
