You do not need to understand aperture, shutter speed, ISO, or autofocus before taking your first photograph.

Begin in Full Auto and let the camera handle the technical decisions. Try Portrait mode when you want a softer background, Sports mode for movement, Landscape mode for a wider scene, or Close-Up mode when a small detail catches your attention.
