Cute Camera Co. Reserve cameras are individually cleaned, inspected, tested, and serviced with their lens before they come home to you. The condition grade describes visible historyโnot whether the camera is ready to make photographs.
Clear answers to the questions camera shoppers ask most.
It can suit a serious beginner who wants full manual control. Its meter display varies by finder, but the camera itself is exceptionally direct and mechanical. Cute Camera Co. is here when first-roll questions appear.
No. Every shutter speed is mechanical. Batteries, when fitted, power only the meter finder and are included.
Focus: Manual focus. Exposure: Fully manual. Its meter or an external reading gives guidance, but the final exposure choices stay with you.
It uses standard 35mm film. Color-negative, black-and-white, and compatible slide films all work; ISO range depends on fitted meter finder. ISO 400 color-negative film is a forgiving everyday starting point unless the camera notes a narrower recommendation.
The included 50mm f/1.4 is a prime. Nikon F-mount compatibility is broad, but pre-AI, AI, and AI-S coupling depends on the fitted Photomic finder; ask before adding a lens.
External flash via accessory shoe / PC sync; sync at 1/80 second. When using flash, follow the cameraโs indicated sync speed or automatic flash mode.
Manual loading, advance, and rewind. A 36-exposure roll normally gives 36 full-frame photographs; half-frame and multi-lens cameras divide the roll differently.
It is especially lovely for documentary work, portraits, travel, and a fully mechanical professional experience. Film stock, light, exposure, lens rendering, developing, and scanning all help shape the final look.
The F2 body is modular. Plain prisms have no meter, while Photomic finders add different generations of metering and lens coupling, so lens compatibility and battery details depend on the finder supplied.
Reserve cameras are individually prepared for their next owner. We clean, inspect, test, and service the camera and listed lens together before it comes home to you, so you can enjoy its history without inheriting decades of uncertainty.
