Nikon F2 35mm Film Camera

with 50mm F1.4 Lens

The Nikon F2 is a whole beast of a camera. Serving as Nikon's flagship professional level camera from 1971-1980. If you needed the best of the best this was as good as it got. The Nikon F2 is an all-metal, mechanically-controlled (springs, gears, levers), manual focus SLR camera. As complex as that sounds, the camera itself actually needs no batteries to function. Batteries are only required to operate the light meter (which we include with every camera we send out).

The Nikon F series are truly a marvel of engineering and we lovingly restore, test, and clean all of our models to ensure that despite its age, your Nikon F2 works as well as it would have if purchased it in 1971. This means that you’ll be able to capture your soulmate’s smile, your puppy dog’s eyes, or the sunset of your last day at college – straight out of the box.

Though the camera did not originally come with a lens, we have included the NIKKOR 50mm 1.4 Lens with the Nikon F2 so it will be fully operational right out of the box. This lens is perfectly suited for the camera and your pictures will come out with that dreamy background blur that brings tears to people's eyes.

When it comes to the Nikon F2, 35mm film camera, you can’t go wrong. Don't forget to put on a camera strap before you walk out the door! (PS we sell straps too!)

By the way, protect your camera for 1-2 years with our protection plan. We cover all boo boos at no cost to you.

🛠️ How We Grade Our Cameras

No two cameras are identical, every camera is unique, has its own story and is truly a piece of history. We do our best to group them into three cosmetic categories so you can choose the one that's best for you.

VERY GOOD:

A "very good" body will have minimal signs of wear and tear. Examples include slight impurities like  worn leather or metal, signs of age on the bottom plate, and dull marks.

GOOD:

A “good” body will also look nice but have some additional potential cosmetic wear such as spots with discoloration,  worn down metal or small scratches somewhere on the body.

AVERAGE:

An “average” body will be a more severe case of cosmetic wear like more extreme discoloration or worn down metal, exterior or interior black specs, deeper scratches, or lines in the eye prism.

Nikon F2

After reading all the reviews saying this is potentially the best 35mm film camera ever made, I had to give it a try. Knowing nothing about manual cameras, starting to play with this has been a real treat.
