Yes. The standard body uses one 2CR5 lithium battery to power its shutter, autofocus, light meter, and film transport. A fresh battery is included with your camera.
Choose One-Shot autofocus for still subjects or AI Servo to follow movement. Program mode handles shutter speed and aperture; aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual exposure give you more creative control. You can also switch the lens to manual focus.
It takes standard 35mm film, including color-negative, black-and-white, and slide film. ISO 400 color-negative film is a useful everyday starting point. The film you choose, the light, and the way your roll is developed and scanned all help shape the finished photographs.
Yes. The included Canon EF 28โ105mm f/3.5โ4.5 USM zooms from wide scenes to tighter portraits without changing lenses. It is removable, so you can explore other compatible Canon EF lenses later. EF-S, RF, and older FD lenses do not mount directly.
No. It accepts a compatible external flash, with standard synchronization up to 1/250 second. Flash compatibility depends on the model, so ask us if youโd like help choosing one. A flash is not included with this camera and lens kit.
Film loading, advance, and rewind are automatic. After finishing a roll, have it developed and scanned to see and share your photographs. Keep the camera back closed until rewinding is complete so your pictures stay protected from light.

It describes the widest aperture available as you zoom: f/3.5 at 28mm and f/4.5 at 105mm. You can also choose smaller apertures when you want more of the scene in focus. This lens does not have image stabilization, so use a steady hold and a suitably fast shutter speed when shooting handheld.
After you order, we select your camera body and included lens from our reserve inventory and complete their final restoration. We clean, inspect, test, and service both together before sending them home to you. Condition grades describe cosmetic wear; every grade is fully functional.
