Your Canon EOS-3 body is individually cleaned, inspected, tested, and serviced after you place your Reserve order. If you choose a lens kit, your selected lens is prepared and tested with the body. Body-only orders do not include a lens. Every condition grade is prepared to make photographs; choose the cosmetic finish and configuration that feel right for you.

Yes, if you want a sophisticated camera you can grow into. Autofocus and Program exposure help you get started, while advanced metering and manual controls leave plenty to explore. Yes. The shutter, autofocus, meter, and film transport need one 2CR5 battery, which is included.
The EOS-3 has 45-point autofocus with One-Shot AF for still subjects, AI Servo AF for movement, and an optional Eye-Control feature for selecting a focus point. Program mode handles shutter speed and aperture; aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual exposure give you more creative control. Both offered lenses also allow manual focus.
It uses standard 35mm film, including color-negative, black-and-white, and slide film. Automatic DX film-speed setting covers ISO 25โ5000; manual setting covers ISO 6โ6400. ISO 400 color-negative film is a useful everyday starting point.

Yes. Body only is a lovely option if you already have a compatible Canon EF lens. You will need to add a lens before taking photographs. Canon EF-S, EF-M, RF, and older FD lenses do not mount directly on the EOS-3. Ask us if you would like help checking a particular lens.
The 50mm is a prime lens, so it has a fixed focal length rather than a zoom. Its wide f/1.4 maximum aperture lets in more light and can create softly blurred backgrounds. It is a lovely choice for portraits, everyday moments, and available-light photographs. Move closer or farther away to change your framing.
This zoom covers wide scenes, everyday snapshots, and tighter portraits without changing lenses. Its maximum aperture stays at f/4 as you zoom, and its image stabilization helps reduce blur from camera shake. It is a versatile choice for travel, celebrations, and days when you want one lens for a mix of moments.
No. The Canon EF 24โ105mm f/4L IS USM has optical image stabilization; the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM does not. The EOS-3 body has no built-in image stabilization. Stabilization helps with camera shake, but a suitably fast shutter speed is still needed to freeze a moving subject.
The EOS-3 has no built-in flash. It accepts a compatible external flash through its hot shoe, including E-TTL with compatible Canon EX-series Speedlites. Standard flash synchronization is 1/200 second. A flash is not included with any of the three configurations.
Film loading, advance, and rewind are automatic. After finishing a roll, have it developed and scanned to see and share your photographs. Keep the camera back closed until rewinding is complete so your pictures stay protected from light.
It is especially lovely for portraits, action, travel, and photographers wanting digital-era speed on film. Film stock, light, exposure, lens rendering, developing, and scanning all help shape the final look.
It must be calibrated for the individual photographer and works best when the camera can clearly read the eye. It can be switched off at any time so you can select autofocus points conventionally.
After you order, we select your camera body from our reserve inventory and complete its final restoration. If you choose a lens kit, we also prepare your selected lens and test it with the body before sending them home to you. Body-only orders include no lens. Condition grades describe cosmetic wear; every grade is fully functional.
