On this full-frame camera it offers a natural, standard perspective. It is a prime lens: it does not zoom, so you move to change your framing.
Choose this L-series zoom for travel, scenery, groups, and portraits with one lens. It goes from wide views at 24mm to tighter framing at 105mm, with a constant f/4 maximum aperture. Optical Image Stabilization helps reduce blur from camera shake; a faster shutter speed still matters for moving subjects.
It has two different slots: one for CompactFlash Type I and one for SD, SDHC, or SDXC. You can start with a single compatible card, or configure two cards for backup or overflow. CompactFlash is not the same as CFast or CFexpress.
