Minolta SRT-101 35mm Film Camera

with 50mm F1.7 Lens

Class is back in session with the Minolta SRT-101. Stepping into the world of classic film photography with this camera feels like entering a flirtatious dance with history. This isn't just any camera; it was the foundation of Minolta's lineup for decades. Imagine the charm of a well-dressed suitor from the '60s, that's the SRT-101 for you; solid, reliable, with a dash of 60s disco in its mechanical design.

The Rokkor lenses that we pair with the SRT-101 carry a mystique all their own, akin to discovering your favorite vintage wine; these lenses only seem to get better with time. With its sharp picture quality and low aperture you will be able to navigate any lighting situation. Making your photos stand out no matter what situation you find yourself in.

We lovingly restore, test, and clean all of our camera models to ensure that despite its age, your vintage Minolta SRT-101 works as well as it would have if purchased it back in 1969. This means that you’ll be able to capture your soulmate’s smile, your puppy dog’s eyes, or the sunset of your last day at college – straight out of the box.

The SRT-101 isn't just a camera; it's a statement piece. It exudes a sense of balance and craftsmanship that makes it a joy to use. From the satisfying click of the shutter to the smooth glide of the winder, it's an experience that connects you not just to your subject, but to the very essence of photography. No wonder it remains a beloved choice among photographers.

When it comes to the Minolta SRT-101 35mm film camera, you can’t go wrong. Don't forget to put on a camera strap before you walk out the door! (PS we sell straps too!)

By the way, protect your camera for 1-2 years with our protection plan. We cover all boo boos at no cost to you.

🛠️ How We Grade Our Cameras

No two cameras are identical, every camera is unique, has its own story and is truly a piece of history. We do our best to group them into three cosmetic categories so you can choose the one that's best for you.

VERY GOOD:

A "very good" body will have minimal signs of wear and tear. Examples include slight impurities like  worn leather or metal, signs of age on the bottom plate, and dull marks.

GOOD:

A “good” body will also look nice but have some additional potential cosmetic wear such as spots with discoloration,  worn down metal or small scratches somewhere on the body.

AVERAGE:

An “average” body will be a more severe case of cosmetic wear like more extreme discoloration or worn down metal, exterior or interior black specs, deeper scratches, or lines in the eye prism.

The small details

I was so hesitant to order from cute camera co. since I had never seen or heard of them before but also hated the idea of trying to source a camera from eBay and the risks that entailed with that. After I ordered the site had a message stating some shipping delays which is understandable! I couldn’t wait to receive it either way and when I did I was so touched that I received an upgrade on my purchase and the packaging itself was so cute. The camera was in perfect condition! My first roll was shot at Yosemite and I can’t wait to get it developed. I’m excited to make more purchases from cute camera co :)
