Yes. Two CR2 batteries power the camera and are included.
Focus: Autofocus or manual focus with confirmation. Exposure: Aperture-priority automatic or manual. The camera handles at least part of the exposure decision, while you still shape the photograph through framing, timing, and the controls it provides.
It uses standard 35mm film. Color-negative, black-and-white, and compatible slide films all work; DX or manual ISO 6โ6400. ISO 400 color-negative film is a forgiving everyday starting point unless the camera notes a narrower recommendation.
The included 45mm f/2 is a prime, but Contax G lenses are interchangeable. Compatibility with later G lenses depends on the bodyโs firmware label.
External flash through hot shoe; sync up to 1/100 second. When using flash, follow the cameraโs indicated sync speed or automatic flash mode.
Automatic loading, advance, and rewind. A 36-exposure roll normally gives 36 full-frame photographs; half-frame and multi-lens cameras divide the roll differently.

The original โgreen labelโ G1 supports the initial 28mm, 45mm, and 90mm lenses. Later 21mm and 35mm lenses require an updated โgreen labelโ body; the 16mm Hologon is manual-focus and has its own requirements.
